We are looking for a Senior Android Mobile Developer to join our existing Android team and work on a smart home project. You should be able to overlap with a UK 9am working day start. You'll have the opportunity to put your expertise to use by working on applications that make automation within the smart home possible. Your code will be used by hundreds of thousands of households globally.




  1. Work in an agile team, taking part in standups, and retrospectives (Via Zoom - video calls)
  2. Understand the structure of existing applications and how to work with them
  3. Interact regularly with our client’s technical team
  4. Use your knowledge of Java to contribute to an existing application
  5. Review commits of other team members


An ideal candidate is autonomous, proactive, and has experience working in a variety of different languages. We admire developers who take initiative, make their own decisions and implement them clearly. Front end knowledge is also a bonus.

As a Purepoint developer you will work in a small and close-knit group. Our mindset is focused on constant iteration and improvement.


As part of our team, we will give you all of the tools necessary to excel at your role. We use Jira, Trello, Slack, Github and Zoom in our day-to-day business.
